A lot of people ask exactly how ordering works at IronPlast. The good news: it's fast, transparent, and works without registration. Here's a walkthrough of the whole process.
1. Upload your model and get an instant price
Open the instant quote page and drag in your 3D model (STL, OBJ or 3MF). Choose the technology (FDM), material, color, layer height and quantity — the system calculates the real, slicing-based price in seconds.
Before showing the price, we ask for your email address and acceptance of the Terms & Conditions. The reason is simple: this links the calculation to your email so you can pick up right where you left off later — you won't have to re-enter everything. Once you've given it, we won't ask again for a few days. We don't send spam.
SLA or STEP file? For these we provide a custom (manual) quote — upload the model and we'll get back to you quickly.
2. Add to cart and enter your details
If you're happy with the price, add the model to your cart. You can submit several models at once — after "Added to cart" you can choose: upload another model or go to cart.
In the cart you enter your billing address and, if different, your shipping address, choose a shipping method, and enter a coupon code if you have one. You can also subscribe to the newsletter here, if you'd like to receive special offers and discounts.
3. We confirm your order by email
After placing the order — just like in any webshop — we send you an email confirmation. The email includes your order-tracking link, which you can use anytime to check the status. No password, no registration: the link is a "magic link" sent just for you.
4. You pay, and production begins
You can pay by card or bank transfer. Once payment is received, production begins, and we'll email you about the key milestones (in production, ready, shipped).
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to register? No. The whole process works without registration; you access your orders via magic-link order tracking.
Are my files safe? Yes. Uploaded models are kept confidential and are only retained until the order is completed.
